We utilise aftermarket auctions aswell as dropcatch systems providers to make the best effort to secure that expiring / dropping name for you. Our site also has basic background tips and info for those wishing to backorder their own names.

Process

The first stage in the process is you contacting us with the basic details of your desired domain name(s) and our confirmation that we can attempt to acquire it for you.

Our standard rates are posted on the 'order & support' page, where you will also find our contact details. All non-standard fees / options will be detailed in our response to your enquiry.

If you wish to proceed with the backorder aquisition attempt then you should make payment for the quoted amount. Once your payment has cleared we can begin acting on your behalf to catch / secure the domain name(s) in question.

.co.uk / .org.uk / .me.uk : All standard attempts to secure .uk names through backorder are charged at a fixed rate

.com / .net / .org : Once we have received your enquiry regarding a .com domain name we will get back to you regarding the cost that we anticipate it will entail to be reasonably confident of successfully backordering / catching the name. This will vary according to registrar, any auction platform, and the specific registration to deletion process.

Other domains : We are able to bid at expired name auction, backorder or attempt to catch names under many other TLDs. Please feel free to contact us regarding backorder of names under obscure domains.

Payment

Payment is accepted in GBP sterling by cleared UK cheque or verified PayPal. Frequent users may be offered other payment options including BACS or direct deposit.

Full payment is required in advance and client shall be responsible for all payment processing fees in the event of a partial refund for an unsuccessful attempt. A charge applies for all unsuccessful auction / monitored backorder attempts. The fee for an unmonitored backorder attempt is non-refundable. Names that are to be followed at expired / aftermarket auction will require full deposit of the maximum bid plus fees, before we will place any bid(s). We will not bid in name auctions where we feel that your proposed maximum bid is unrealistic due to anticipated high demand.

Due to the time-critical nature of expired names rapid payment is essential if you require us to act on your behalf and attempt to catch your desired .com, .co.uk or other domain name.
